Took mum to do the Coogee to Bondi walk for Mothers Day

May 13, 2013 at 7:33 am

My parents love bushwalking and scenic walks so this year we organised a family trip to do the Coogee to bondi coastal walk for mothers day. It was a really nice day and a warm one for mid autumn. I also got to try out my new DSLR backpack which allows me to carry more and distribute the weight to both shoulders.

So we began our walk at Coogee.

26th B’day + awesome my cake!

May 13, 2013 at 6:49 am

It was a very special birthday this year, not because I’m 26 but because of everyone who made it special. This year, chibi made me the best cake I’ve ever received in my life! It was an amazingly elegant Tiramisu. She even took Friday off work and spent the entire day working on it. I can’t describe how much I appreciate this but this is something I’ll never forget for the rest of my life. Thanks so much Bhib!! <3

Alan & Sandra’s wedding in Bali

September 26, 2012 at 9:56 pm

So my bro finally gets married, and does so in style (Gungnam style >D) in Bali. First of all I’d like to congratz my bro and Sandra for tying the knot!

We spent 4 days in Bali with Sandra’s and our family at a really nice villa getaway. It was accommodation like no other. 4 massive double story houses, giant 1000 sqr metre back yard, personal cook, person Rajon Rondo look-alike driver, massive pool and insects. As great as it sounds, it does have it’s downsides. First and foremost the insects! It was like some tropical rainforest, the houses weren’t enclosed aside from the bedroom (which still had gaps through the doors). Meaning all sorts of insects such as mozzies, ants, spiders, bees, scorpions, frogs, geckos, moths etc will get inside. Thankfully, they supplied us with Mortein which did help but oh man, they were everywhere. Then there was the bathrooms, which had a window that passer byers can directly peer in and see you! So everyone used the bathrooms upstairs which were fully enclosed. Chibi was so freaked out she could barely sleep lol. I think to get through this challenge, you have to become one with nature. You know? pretend you’re a local, let the ants crawl on you, let the gecko’s eat the mozzies, let the ants eat the dead insects. After a while you realise it’s just part of nature, a food chain for survival and the humans are on top of it.

Photo with Anderson On

August 2, 2010 at 10:17 pm

On saturday after the Miss Sydney chinese pageant contest, i managed to grab Anderson On, an incredibly famous Hong Kong Actor/MC for a photo. Its the first time i ever stood next to a celebrity and having a photo taken. Super nice guy, he was very enthusiastic and shook my hand afterwards. Very happy to have this picture taken, probably will never get another chance!

Paramount Launch Party!

August 4, 2009 at 9:21 pm

Quick thought before i start:

“wow its been a while since i last blogged, my computer is inching closer to death as each day passes =( hopefully i can get it sorted out. Sick of that flying square yet? that square is very meaningful, it finally makes this site ‘jaychan’ u’ll find out soon, stay tuned =)”.

Last wednesday, i was invited to Paramounts Q4 Launch Party. When i got the invitation, i didnt know what to expect as this is the first time they invited me, but i did look forward to that day and i was excited and nervous at the same time.

I attended With my 2 bosses and 2 other workmates. Upon Arrival at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Circular Quay, the first thing i noticed was that Gigantic Blob costume player from Monsters Vs Aliens (sorry no pictures). I felt like i was attending some theme park or some sort, but instead the night started out in Grand style…

Holy @#$^!!! a lifesize replica of optimus prime! – although its just a truck, you have to check out the paint job, its mind blowing… awsomeness…

Then theres the G.I.JOE Tank! if you look closely,  you can see some black rectangle decals, hehe i made those! This tank is real (not the cannon), its powered by a Rolls royce engine, can crush a car easily O_O”

Doctor Manhattan Cosplayer…I thought this was fake! until he turned his head which freaked me out…and whats with the blue undies? haha

Couldnt take much pictures as there were heeps of people around and was very dark.  There were 2 stores serving pizza and noodles, and my workmates and I couldnt stop grabbing the food haha i mean its free!!. Then we went to grab some drinks, i got this cocktail called “Starscreamer” hmmm wonder where that name came from? well anyway, it tasted like crap! Bumblebee was even worse…haha guess im not much of an alcoholic person.

The night went by pretty quick, there were so many high profile people i saw throughout the night including Directors from other company, The CEO of Paramount Australia and also The Wallabies Captain Stirling Mortlock. When we left, we were handed out a bag full of freebies!!, the bag itself was a hot pink ‘sex and the city’ handbag….however, the stuff inside is wat matters! there was:

  • Transformers 1 DVD
  • Watchmen DVD
  • Transformers Toy!
  • Transformable USB HUB (ZOMG!!)
  • Transformers 2 OST
  • Monsters Vs Aliens Goo
  • notepad, calenders, Dora watch, hair treatment stuff
  • Rich peoples magazine and lots more!

Damn what an awsome gift =) The night was so awsome, it was a crazy experience. Hope theres a next time hehe, must work hard for them!

J-out.
