blog – fixup

omg! 2 entries in 1 day?? that means i can skip next week >D

This blog theme was designed in a period of stress and with a sense of urgency. It was an exercise to revise my web-design skills. Looking back at it now, i can see many flaws in the design. As i will be trying to blog more often now, i feel i should address those issues moving forward, the readers deserve better =)

i’ll try to point out the current flaws:

• Too much blue, the whole blog is just flooded with blue with a minimal secondary color. This has no direction for the eye to important content area.
• Navigation bar is hard to locate, not to mention the thinness of the font making it even harder to navigate.
• flash header takes way too long to load, along with enormous image sizes used for the bg, this needs to be simplified to minimize loading time.
• Frames for each entry clashes with one another, this doesnt work and makes it all the more confusing, new design required.
• Side bar is too simplistic, the space can be better utilized to place more suitable blog related content.

Hopefully i’ll have these fixed overtime. Dont expect another full update, i’ll fix it as I go along. Feel free to inform me of any other flaws you see, im sure theres others!
